What We Achieved

Over the course of 9 months, we increased Ballymore Homes organic Traffic by 80% that’s notable considering the competitive real estate environment of Toronto. It’s crucial to know that for this particular client we never published blog articles, so the organic traffic increase was only from the main pages that have a direct effect on the revenue and target “Money” keywords. The increase in organic traffic is attributed to the significant increase in keyword rankings and the overall increase in the number of keywords ranking. We were able to increase the number of keywords Ballymore Homes were ranking for in by 50% without blog creation.

What Did We Do?

The first thing that we implemented when we started working with Ballymore Homes was automating their marketing processes by bringing our tools and methodologies. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

At the beginning of our SEO campaign we conducted thorough keyword research, on-page SEO analysis, competitor research and analysis, and technical audit in order to determine where we are and what the course of action should be. During the first month we fixed all the technical issues of the website and worked on the on-page SEO. Also, we put considerable time analysing the keyword environment and how should we approach it to achieve the best result. Taking into account that SEO was never done on the website before and this niche is quite competitive as there are also a lot of large-scale real estate websites that are in the similar niche, we were very specific when choosing every single keyword. We didn’t want to roll out our SEO campaign trying to rank for any general keywords because it would not bring any prominent results. With a very focused keyword strategy laid out, we reoptimized the majority of the existing pages on the website and created new pages for each city where Ballymore Homes has communities in.

Though SEO campaigns typically take 4-6 months to start bringing noticeable results, we already could see a gradual traffic increase starting from the second month. Then once all of our SEO campaign activities started to generate results, we have seen an increase in organic traffic of 80% in only 7 months without any blog content. During the past 8 months we have targeted and tracked 100 keywords. When we started the average position of these keywords were 32 (4th page). With our SEO strategy the average position increased by 10 positions. Also, 27 new keywords started ranking on the top 3 positions and 31 additional keywords moved up in position.

Local SEO

We optimized all of Ballymore Homes profiles on all local directories. We also spent time improving the optimization of Google My Business page. As a result of our optimization efforts, we increased the total actions (this includes phone calls from the listing, requests for direction to the office, and direct visits to the website) taken on our GMB listing by 1500% over the course of 9 months. The Number of Local Search also, increased by 1000% and the number of views increased by 900%. These improvement happened by regular directory and listing optimization, acquiring local links and GMB optimization.
